  • The planners of this conference realize that one of the best ways we can become "One Community in Recovery" is to ensure that community members are4 learning new information together. We want to ensure that people who have first person experiences with recovery have the opportunity to participate. If you have a fixed or limited income, you are invited to apply for a scholarship to cover the conference registration fee. We hope to see you at the conference!
  • Scholarship Options

    This year's conference will take place in person at the The Embassy Suites at Greensboro Airport.
  • Scholarship Applicant Criteria

    The Conference Planning Committee will make all scholarship award decisions. The following criteria will be used in selecting scholarship recipients:
  • * Recipients must be North Carolina residents.
  • * Recipients would be financially unable to attend the conference without the scholarship.
  • * Individuals will be eligible to receive a scholarship every other year.

  • Scholarship Specifics

  • * No cash awards will be made. Scholarship recipients will receive a promo code for free registration. If you scholarship includes lodging, the conference planners will make your reservation and your hotel bill will be paid by the conference. Lodging will be for Wednesday and Thursday nights (March 4-5 ) only.
  • * A limited number of scholarships are available. If the number of valid applications exceeds the amount of available scholarship funding, scholarship recipients will be chosen by random drawing. If one or more applicants decline a scholarship, additional applicants will be randomly chosen and offered a scholarship until all scholarships are accepted.
  • *Scholarship recipients will be notified on January 9, 2026 and must accept or decline the scholarship by January 16, 2025 .
