  • Cardas Service Quote and Return Authorization Form

  • This form is for:

    1 - Getting a quote for service. (This is how you get a quote. You don't get a quote first, and then come here. You come here to get a quote.)

    2 - Getting a Return Authorization Number

     

    Upon hitting "Submit", an email will be sent to your inbox immediately. So please be sure to input your email address accurately, and if you don't immediately receive a confirmation email, check your SPAM folder. This form has, thus far, a 100% success rate in sending confirmation emails. 

    Notes:

    1. Quotes typically take 1-2 business days, and will come from Darla (darla@cardas.com). If you don't receive a quote within two business days, check your SPAM folder.

    2. When sending cables in for service, send both in the pair. Even if only one of them needs service.

    3. Do not send your product in its original packaging, as it will not be returned. 

    4. Serviced cables are packaged in a plastic bag, and receive a certficiate indicating that they have been serviced at Cardas Audio. The bag & certificate are then placed in a sturdy couregated cardboard box and shipped back via Fed Ex.

     

    5. New or replacement packaging is not available. Re-terminated or repaired cables are not eligible for new packaging. 

    6. We only service Cardas products. We do not service cables made by other manufacturers. 

    7. Cables sent for authentication, and found to be counterfeit, will be indelibly marked as counterfeit and returned.

     

  • International customers, please read:

    Non-warranty service (re-terminations, authentications, etc.) will incur return-shipping costs, in addition to the service charges.

    International shipping can be quite expensive. We only ship with FedEx, as delivery is gauranteed, and lost packages are insured. 

    We must state an accurate and honest value for the item being returned. For re-terminations & authentications, we declare the value of the service performed. We can not declare a value of zero, or under-value the price, as doing so puts our ability to continue shipping internationally in jeopardy. It is likely your country will charge dutues and taxes based on the value we delcare. 

    Warranty repairs are returned to the customer at our expense.

  • NOTE

    Cables found to be counterfeit will be indellibly marked with a branding iron and/or laser engraver, and returned as-is, including the partial disassembly necessary to determine whether they are authentic.

     


     

  • Nearly every headphone has its own connector. Even within the same brand, each model of headphone is likely to require a different connector.

    Even models with similar names often use different connectors. For example, the HifiMan HE-6SE uses a different connector than the HiFiMan HE-6SE v2 🤯

    And, unfortunately, there isn't an accurate, frequently updated database that lists every headphone and their required connectors.

    In order to ensure that we put the correct connectors on your headphone cable, please attach a clear, close-up photo of the connector(s) on your current (stock) headphone cable. Ideally, include an item of standard size in the image, such as a US coin, or a tape measure or set of calipers showing the dimensions of the connector.

    Non-US coins are acceptable, however please tell us what the coin is, so that we can google its dimensions.

  • When you press Submit, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your submission, and an RA number. If you don't see it within 1 minute of hitting the submit button, please check your SPAM or Junk folder. 

    If you've indicated that you're waiting for a price quote, please expect 1 to 2 business days for a quote.

    If you're not waiting on a quote, or if you are sending a product for warranty service, you may send your item in at any time.
