Your sponsorship of a post-secondary academic scholarship is integral to achieving our mission to empower young Kenyans to break the cycle of poverty. At this stage, your communication exchange with the EFAC Scholar will continue via email or WhatsApp. If you are supporting an EFAC Scholar for the first time, EFAC will be in touch with more details about the student and communication guidelines.

Please note that EFAC Scholars have a variety of options for post-secondary programs that can span 3-6 years, depending on the requirements of the program. Regardless of the student's academic choice, the total commitment to the EFAC Post Secondary Sponsor Program is $4,400 You can fulfill your socholarship through one payment of $4,400, four (4) $1,100 annual payments or forty-eight (48) monthly payments of $92.

We are very proud of EFAC's student success rate of graduating high school and continuing on to post-secondary school! In the recent high school exit exams, 100% of EFAC scholars qualified for a diploma or Bachelor’s Degree program, compared to 50% who qualified nationally. While EFAC provides comprehensive student support, in addition to scholarships, there are times when students do not complete the post-secondary school program, despite everyone’s best efforts to do so. In this rare event, your 4-year commitment to support an EFAC scholar will be transferred to another student enrolled in our post-secondary program. You also have the option of allocating your sponsorship contributions to our Community Scholarship Fund. The Fund benefits all scholars who are not matched with a sponsor so we can ensure that all EFAC students benefit from our holistic programs. While participating in EFAC's Sponsor Program it is crucial to support and protect the well-being of scholars in our program. We ask that you please review the following points and check the box that follows to acknowledge and affirm this statement:

Instantly report any concerns about a student's welfare or academics to the Sponsor Program Manager. Reports will be handled expediently, sensitively, and confidentially.
Treat all EFAC Scholars fairly without favoritism or discrimination.
Do not provide EFAC Scholars with gifts, money, personal needs, or other items or financial support without prior authorization from EFAC.
Do not use language that makes suggestions or gives advice that is inappropriate, insulting, offensive or abusive.
Avoid controversial topics, politically or socially charged comments.
Do not visit the home or school of an EFAC Scholar without the direct involvement and coordination of a member of the EFAC staff.
