Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum! We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and experiences and depend on the service of a dedicated volunteer crew for our success. Our volunteers become shipmates who are active particpants in our visitor experience and operations and we're looking forward to you becoming part of our ongoing history!

We do ask that new volunteers are able to give approximately 16 hours of their time a month for some volunteer positions, though we do have opportunities for those who want to contribute to the Museum but might have less time.

Tour guides for general visitors as well as during special events and education programming

Radio Club: (First Saturday of every month)

Learn and Experience amateur radio communications using a combination of vintage and modern equipment
