Course:
Due to damages caused by the 2020 Big Sur Dolan wildfire, Nacimiento-Fergusson Rd. still remains closed. In addition, we also have ongoing road construction on Hwy-1 towards Big Sur which is causing traffic delays. All things considered, our 2022 CVD course is below:

Support:
The Carmel Valley Double is fully supported. Ride support includes 8 full rest stops and 3 water stops. Lunch will be served at Rest Stop #4 in Carmel Valley (Mile 104). There will be a catered dinner at the finish (Mile 202).
Rest stops’ open and close times are based on 04:00 start. Faster riders who can finish the course in less than 17 hours are asked to start between 05:30 to 06:00 so our volunteers at rest stops can serve you better.
