Are you excited to get started on developing your growth timeline? You already completed the HUGE step in defining your unique growth goals, so now we get to choose which professional skills you want to focus on FIRST that will help you grow into reaching your short term goals.
Here's how it will work:
1) You will put in your info again so we know who you are and so you can get a copy of this plan.
2) You will select which five professional skill areas make the most sense to focus on first.
3) Then you will choose which training courses, activities, and/or resources you would like to "assign" to yourself to help you grow in that particular professional skill. These will be the action steps you are adding to your employee development timeline. This is all super optional, as its simply for YOUR benefit and your personal professional growth, so its up to you if you want to become a super pro at that skill and add all of the training materials to your timeline, or if you just want a refresher and pick one or two training materials for that skill.
4) Then, you can start working on the training materials (aka action steps) that you chose for these first five skills. The best part: you can work on these action steps at your OWN PACE! There is no rush or deadline, and no need for any pressure!
5) Then, once you finish all of the action steps and feel confident in your growth in the first five professional skills you chose, you will meet with your manager to reevaluate your goals and start choosing the next action steps that you would like to pursue.
