Who is invited to the table?

We are inviting Artist-Educators, Arts Administrators, and Arts Funders across North America who care about equity, inclusion, and strategic sustainability of the arts education industry to join our first convergence of roundtables. At these roundtables we will come together to discuss how we can collectively raise the bar for the work we do in and with communities.

Applications are now open to participate in our initial round of Industry Roundtables. Those accepted into this cohort will be awarded an honourarium for their participation.

We will be prioritizing folks from BIPOC and equity-seeking communities for this opportunity. Everyone who applies will gain early access to our research findings and other useful resources.

As a community arts leader your voice is important in creating change. When you join the conversation you will also gain access to a cross-continental network of trail-blazing leaders and like-minded peers.

These Industry Roundtables are part of a larger initiative - 'Engaging Artists in Digital Learning Environments' (EADLE), a research project led by Voice of Purpose, with the support of ArtStarts and an advisory of community arts partners, funded by Canada Council for the Arts.

- For Arts Administrators - Tuesday, June 29th @ 2-4pm EST
- For Arts Funders - Thursday July 8th @ 2-4pm EST
- For Artist Educators / Teaching Artists - Saturday July 10th @ 2-4pm EST
Instructions on How to Accept your Nomination

Step 1) Complete the Nomination Acceptance form below.

Step 2) Complete an EADLE survey.

You will be sent an email with the survey for completion after you have completed Step 1.

Some context about Step 2: The EADLE Survey is part of our larger initiative. This will help us to better understand your experiences engaging in digital learning environments, which is important for the groundwork of the Industry Rountable discussions and the selection process for our first cohort.

We believe that community arts practitioners deserve to be honoured for their time and experience, and so we will be offering honorariums of $50 CAD / $40 USD for the first 150 people who complete an EADLE survey (Application Step 2). Beyond that, finalists will receive an additional honourarium of $100 CAD / $80 USD for their participation in our first round of Industry Roundtables.

*Note: Your application/nomination will be officially registered when Step 2 has been completed.*

Selection Process: From our list of confirmed applications/nominations, we will invite a group of finalists (artist educators, arts administrators/organizers, and arts funders) from across Canada and the US to participate in our first set of Industry Roundtables. We will be prioritizing inclusive representation for BIPOC and equity-seeking communities, however everyone is encouraged to apply. We are looking for folks with lived-experiences in the communities they serve, who have also been using digital engagement for community arts.
