Produced as part of AFF 2020 (Adelaide Film Festival), these KAURNA WELCOME TO COUNTRY VIDEOS feature Kaurna leader Jack Buckskin & Kaurna Elder Aunty Lynette Crocker.

A team of five local Aboriginal screen practitioners worked on the project; Adam Galea on sound, Isaac Lindsay as editor, Kiara Milera and Clem Newchurch on camera, and Damien Wanganeen in lighting, supported by mentors and producers at Living Stories.

Funding for this pilot series was provided by AFF, Screen Australia’s Indigenous Department, the City of Adelaide’s Reconciliation Department and the South Australian Film Corporation. It is intended that future iterations will be produced with more Aboriginal stories, storytellers and screen practitioners. See the AFF website for further details.

AFF encourages the ongoing screening of the Kaurna Welcome to Country videos at events and activities taking place on Kaurna Land.

Single screening only ($200 + GST) Up to 5 screenings across event duration ($500 + GST) 6 - 20 screenings across event duration ($550 - $750 + GST) More than 20 screenings across event duration (fee by negotiation)
