If selected as a Consumer Scholar, do you have any concerns about your ability to fulfil these program requirements:
- Commit to participate in the full program year from August 2021 until November 2022 (barring any unforeseen circumstances that prevent someone from continuing their participation).
- Be able and willing to attend and participate in the virtual 2021 conference held October 20-22, 2021. Technology support and assistance will be provided, but individuals must be willing to work with Camden Coalition staff to ensure they are able to access the online conference platform and participate in the virtual conference.
- Be able and willing to attend the 2022 conference, which we hope will be held in-person in October or November 2022 — assuming it is safe to gather in-person at that time. Travel and lodging expenses will be covered, and travel accommodations can be made based on individual needs.
- Commit to attend and participate in regular program meetings and training sessions which will be held virtually on Zoom. These meetings will primarily take place Monday-Friday between 12pm-5pm EST. We strongly prefer people to join via Zoom, but can also accommodate those who need to call in on a phone.
- Actively participate in project work, which is estimated at about 30-40 hours total between December 2021-September 2022.
- Respond in a timely manner to communication and requests from Camden Coalition staff, and proactively reach out whenever you are in need of assistance or information in order to remain engaged in the program.
- Be a positive contributor and respectful and engaged member of the Consumer Scholars 2021-2022 cohort
