4/19 - Answer whether you have secured a conversation partner. (Note: you may change names to keep personal matters anonymous from your feedback partner) Think more deeply than you usually do about a recent conversation. What went well? What didn’t? How did you relate with that person as a saint, sufferer, or sinner?
4/26 - How did remembering that you are a person who both needs help and can help affect a recent conversation? Ask for prayer from someone. What kind of spiritual conversation emerged?
5/3 - How did the concentric circles help navigate some of the complexities of someone’s needs as you talked with them? How did they offer opportunities to speak to the saint/sufferer/sinner categories? How are you understanding that the person is more complicated than you might have thought?
5/10 - How are you moving toward and praying with others? How did you find careful question-asking a helpful tool in drawing closer to an individual? What questions were helpful? What weren’t?
5/17 - How did you “retell” a person’s story in a conversation? If you didn’t, how could it have been helpful.
5/24 - Think about what didn’t go well in a recent convo. How could it have helped to think about the person as a sufferer?
6/7 - Final Paper - What are 3 personal take-aways from this class? How have you seen them to be helpful already? How will you seek to pursue relationships differently? Give 2-3 tangible next steps.
