I hope you and your baby enjoy your TinyTalk session. Our award-winning classes include baby signing, singing, sensory activities and a social and support time for you and your little one.

At TinyTalk sessions we have lots of wonderful sensory developmental tools which are not baby toys. They are NOT to be handled by babies or children and are strictly ‘Adults Only’. By attending TinyTalk sessions you agree to these conditions for the safety and protection of your child as well as to the safety and protection of all children attending the sessions.

TinyTalk Baby Signing Classes are suitable for babies from birth up to, approximately, 18 months / 2 years old. Older siblings are welcome to attend when they are confident on their feet at no extra charge. Toddler Classes are suitable for pre-school children from approximately 18 months old. Again, siblings also are welcome to attend with their older brothers and sisters at no extra charge.

Child protection

TinyTalk Baby Signing / Toddler Classes consist of 30 minutes of baby signing and singing and 30 minutes of playtime for the children and refreshments for adults.

All children who attend TinyTalk classes will be accompanied for the duration of the class by their parent / guardian / carer who is responsible for their care and well-being during the class. Parents / guardians / carers are reminded of this responsibility when they enrol for the classes. All activities are conducted together. No children will be permitted to attend the classes unaccompanied.

The TinyTalk Company Mission Statement states, “We take great care in what we do – and we take care in what we do very seriously. We know that, to our parents / carers and their children, our classes are of major importance. No two children and their parents / carers are the same and each child needs individual attention. To ensure a child makes the best possible progress, our classes have to be delivered in a precise and methodical manner. Accordingly, we have developed our own class programme which ensures, right from the start, that classes are delivered exactly in accordance with our proven format. We take this same care and seriousness with regard to all the people who work with us.”

All TinyTalk teachers are covered by public liability insurance, have enhanced DBS checks and have met the necessary standards for cover to be granted.

As a TinyTalk teacher I fully recognise my responsibilities for child protection and follow the TinyTalk Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. I am fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children in my class. I will take all reasonable steps to promote safe practice and protect children from harm, abuse and exploitation. I will report any concerns about a child to both TinyTalk Head Office as well as my local Child Protection Officer. The full policy is available on request.
