Thank you for lending your name to the fight against racism as frontline healthcare workers. This form will:
- Generate an automated email of the text to The Mayor and Chief of Police of Brooklyn Center, as well as to the Mayor of Minneapolis, Mayor of St Paul and Minnesota Governor, Tim Walz.
- Build a network of healthcare workers that can organize, discuss, and create actions to fight racism and build power for those of us on the frontlines.
We, the frontline healthcare workers of Minnesota and beyond, fully condemn the racist police killing of Daunte Wright and demand the immediate firing of all involved officers. As official deflections about the nature of the murder begin, and as condemnations of the community rising up in protest are issued by the political circles, we pledge our support to the family of Daunte Wright and the people continuing to suffer the results of systemic, institutionalized racism.
As healthcare providers we recognize that racism is a public health crisis that must be addressed in concrete, substantial and systemic ways. The continued killings of people of color by police are undefendable, and must end.
