We are accepting 20 people into the sixth cohort of the Community Catalyst program. The deadline to apply is May 7, 2021 and all applicants will be notified whether or not they have been accepted into the program shortly after that date.
Those selected as Community Catalysts will receive a $2,500 stipend to participate in the program for six months. Cohort members will work with Michael Johnson and Becky Benishek, the community managers of EngineeringUnleashed.com, to engage faculty on our online community.
The criteria for application is simple:
- Have an account on EngineeringUnleashed.com
- Be interested in furthering the mission to bring entrepreneurial mindset to engineering students using the Engineering Unleashed platform
- Have at least one published card on EngineeringUnleashed.com
- Commit to weekly participation at minimum (you'll have a variety of avenues)
Community Catalysts do many things to drive engagement, including:
- Coach/mentor other faculty on the site
- Engage in online discussions
- Create new cards
- Review cards
- Provide feedback on website functionality
- & more!
Faculty selected receive training on best practices for online communities of practice (like Engineering Unleashed). They also provide direct feedback on the future direction of the community and platform.
