All students must present their class-7 learner’s license to the instructors, but for any reason, if the student is not able to produce their learner license prior to the training, the instructor will drive the student home on teaching time to pick up the licence or cancel the lesson and charge a re-scheduling fee.
Please Note: online course must be completed within 30 days prior to online registration date. Students can only book in-car sessions after sucessfully completeing the online courses.
No show Policy (In-Car-Lesson)
In the event that you can not keep your scheduled on-road appointment, you must advise your instructor or South Drivers School office 72-48 hours prior to the appointment. Any change to an on-road appointment or meeting point must be arranged 48 hours prior to the scheduled road session. Requests to change an on road session with less than 48 hours' notice can not be guaranteed. However, we will do our best effort to accommodate your request.
If you fail to advise us of your cancellation in 72-48 hours or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee of $95.00 will be administered since this time was reserved for you. The instructor will notify you via text message once he/she arrives at the meeting point. It is your instructor's responsibility to remain at the meeting point for 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, after which the on-road session is considered as No Show. This missed session will be replaced at the end of the already scheduled appointments closer to the road exam.
Refund Policy (Program cancellation)
After any part of the course (Classroom, online, or in Vehicle) has been started/issued, used, or the client decides to opt out, no refund will be issued. if no part of the program has been issued, a refund will be issued minus a 5% transaction fee and a $90 administration fee.
You will receive a 1 day reminder by email prior to your next scheduled on-road session. If you are unable to keep your appointment, you may reschedule for a later date according to your instructors' availability.
Your instructor may cancel or re-schedule your on-road session within 24 hours due to illness, personal emergency, weather or road conditions, and unexpected mechanical issues with the vehicle or being delayed by the final road test.
