We know many families have two working adults and we don't expect anyone to be a super hero and quit a day job just to be able to take home a puppy. Every puppy family has different needs, and this information form helps us identify who needs what information and what homes might make the best fit. If you're a veteran bernedoodle owner, we don't want to regale you with things you already know; by the same token, if this is your first puppy or first bernedoodle, we want to make sure you leave prepared for what life with a puppy may bring.

Bernedoodles require professional grooming approx. every 8 weeks, and it can cost $100+ each time. Lack of grooming can cause serious skin problems. Are you committed to this necessary expense?*

Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Bearcreek Bernedoodles, but it does not guarantee you'll get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

APPROVAL AND DEPOSIT: I will review applications within 2 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your home is a good fit, I'll notify you. Approved homes will receive a link to make a reservation fee on a puppy, and links will be sent out in the order approved applications were received. Please make this deposit within 48 hours of the approval e-mail. We take reservation fees with the understanding that your wait could potentialy be longer than expected if circumstances arise where breeding is not possible that season and/or a pregnancy does not take.

YOUR PICK OF PUPPY: Puppies will be chosen in received reservation fee order. When the puppies are 7 weeks old you will come pick out your puppy in person and take the puppy home. Should you elect to not take a puppy from the litter, the paid fee will be forwarded to the next litter. You may pass on 2 litters. Once you pass on the 2nd litter you will lose your place in line and be removed from the pick list. It will then be your responsibility to contact me when you are ready for a puppy. You will then be added to the current list at the highest available spot. If you choose to forgo purchasing a puppy your paid fee will be forfeited. All reservation fees are nonrefundable and non-transferable.

GOING HOME: We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable timeframe. If you have a big vacation planned or have events that would conflict with a young puppy, please know puppies cannot be boarded in a kennel until they have received their full immunizations and their rabies vaccination which cannot be done until 3 months of age.

CONTRACT: We have a contract and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason it's a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.

SPAY/NEUTER: We require spay/neuter at or before 18 months. Proof must be sent to Bearcreek Bernedoodles.
