I agree to give a 30 (calendar) day written notice prior to my child's last day at Little Forest Explorers, LLC or I will forfeit my last month's tuition if paid already. *

I understand that Little Forest Explorers, LLC may encounter possible school closures due to severe weather conditions such as; wind 21+ mph, COVID 19 exposure, lightning in the park, an AQI (air quality index) of 101+, or a PM (particulate matter) of 2.5+. I further understand that these safety closure days will not be refunded from the cost of tuition.*
Unexpected closures are necessary to maintain the safety of the children and teachers. School will return to session as quickly as safely possible.
I acknowledge that all parents will be asked to pick up their children at 3:00 pm on rainy days. Although rainy days are fun, they take a toll on the children. A full day in the elements such as wind and rain requires a 3:00 pick-up so the children can go home to get warm and snuggle up so they do not over-tire themselves during the wet weather season. I also acknowledge that when LFE spends their school day at the Exploratorium or the Academy of Sciences (due to unsafe weather in the park), all parents will be asked to pick up at 3:00.*
I understand that school hours are from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. I understand that if I am more than 10 minutes late picking up my child (3:10 pm), I will be charged $20.00, the same amount for after-school care. If I leave my child past 3:10 pm on a Friday, I will be charged a $35.00 late fee. *
I understand that if I choose to take time off from school during Non closure dates, tuition will remain the same and there will be no discounts or refunds for dates missed from school.*
If I choose to take advantage of after-school care from 3:00-4:00 pm. I agree to pay $20.00/day for each day I leave my child past 3:10 pm until no later than 4:00 pm. I agree that after-school care is only offered Monday-Thursday and is NOT offered on Fridays. If I leave my child past 3:10 pm on a Friday, I will be charged a $35.00 late fee. *
In consideration of my participation and the participation of my child(ren) in the activities of Little Forest Explorers, LLC, I hereby release Little Forest Explorers, LLC from any liability for injuries or loss which I or my minor child(ren) may incur as a result of said activities for so long and I or my child(ren) participate in said activities. I hereby acknowledge that some activities may involve risk taking and may involve working with potentially dangerous materials (fire, actual tools, etc.). However, I fully accept these risks for me and my child(ren) and agree to hold harmless and free from any and all liability Little Forest Explorers, LLC, Golden Gate Park, the City and County of San Francisco, Ocean Beach (United States of America), all volunteers, and employees for injuries which may be incurred while engaged in said activities. *
I acknowledge that my child's photo will be taken on a daily basis for observations and a recap of their day at school. These photos will be posted on our LFE group text chat on WhatsApp so you do not miss anything your child has done at school each day. This is an important part of what makes Little Forest Explorers so unique. There is a chance these photos may also be used on Little Forest Explorers, LLC website. *
