All recommendations are based off the available information and are directed at you, the veterinarian. Please look over the recommendations carefully and decide what is best for your patient. You may have information about the case that we do not have. A teleconsult is in no way equivalent to seeing a case in-person ourselves and thus recommendations based on an in-person evaluation may vary from the recommendations made in a teleconsult. We make no guarantees about the outcomes of cases.
Behavior treatment is inherently a process that requires detailed guidance, treatment trials and close monitoring. Additionally, some treatments can have inadvertant or unwanted side effects, including, but not limited to increased aggression or agitation as an unlikely but inherent risk. While this risk is low for most treatments, it is your responsibility to inform your clients of this risk.
