  • THE WINNING ACADEMY HISTORY

In February 1999, the Save A Community (SAC) President and Pastor of CFC, Bishop Harvey Bee announced that there was a need for a Christian Tutoring Program in the Warner Robins community. The First Lady of Christian Fellowship Church, Dr. Veronica Bee, having faithfully executed her responsibilities as a Home School Educator for her own children, was empowered to research this idea of a Homeschoolers' Group. She diligently pursued this effort with all her strength and became very passionate about her call to educate the young minds of God's children.

After months of research including numerous phone calls, tons of paperwork, and out-of-town trips, on Monday, August 16, 1999, the need for a Christian Tutoring Program in the Warner Robins community was met and the doors of CFC Home School opened. Our school was in compliance with the requirements of the state of Georgia and was the first of its kind to be instituted in the state. We were blessed to have started with forty students, a dedicated and fully qualified staff consisting of four teachers and one administrator. As we developed, our name was changed to Christian Fellowship Home School; Christian Fellowship Academy (CFA); and with our official name change on June 18, 2018, we are now known as The Winning Academy (TWA).

The Winning Academy is a Christian school that is dedicated to the training of young minds and is designed to have a profound effect on the education of children from Pre-Kindergarten through High School. It evolved as part of the vision of Christian Fellowship Church (CFC), now known as The Winning Church (TWC), which finds a need, meets it, teaches, and reaches the Warner Robins and neighboring communities in Middle Georgia.

Our educational philosophy is shaped by the Bible, which we believe to be the infallible Word of the Almighty God. As the Word of God says in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it," our mission focuses on the training and disciplining of children and the maintenance of standards of excellence. It coincides with the development of competent, confident children with a life-long passion for learning. We believe that our children will become successful contributors to our society and will also be well-prepared for the calling God has placed on their lives. TWA has and will strengthen your child spiritually, academically, morally, and emotionally.

TWA now enrolls students from K2 to High School. We also have a thriving Summer Camp (Bee Ahead Summer Camp) which is second to none. As educators, we are on a mission to help each child know that they are significant, regardless of what others have to say about them. We will educate and equip these sharp young minds with God's Word as they discover who they can become. We are dedicated to make sure each child has a firm, spiritual foundation as well as a vibrant academic life.

We are thankful to God for allowing us to partner with parents in this Middle Georgia Area as we collectively raise "Champions For Christ". Students who attend TWA believe that They Can, and They Will, Rise Up and know that they can do all things through Christ who gives them strength.

  • Standard of Conduct

  • The Winning Academy (TWA) believes that the Bible is the infallible, divine Word of God and that salvation by faith in Jesus Christ is the initial step in the Christian life. There are several scripture references which validate the idea of spiritual growth into the image of Christ, including Roman 8:29 and II Corinthians 3:18. This spiritual growth begins with the initial act of saving faith and continues throughout life. The Holy Spirit makes the Christian conscious of the biblical demands for a holy life which fulfills both God's moral law and the law of love. Our goal is to ensure each student has a God-consciousness.

We, therefore, must provide an environment conducive to their spiritual and academic growth in addition to developing them as young people who are not yet mature Christians. A standard of conduct based on the fol lowing biblical imperatives is necessary to provide such an environment. All the activities of Christians must be subordinated to the glory of God who indwells us (I Corinthians 8:9, 12-13; 10:32). Each student will endeavor to avoid practices which cause the loss of sensitivity to their spiritual needs and loss of the Christian's physical, mental, or spiritual well-being (I Corinthians 9:27).

It's our desire to develop each student physically, mentally, and spiritually. Therefore, we've adopted the fol lowing standards which are believed to be conducive to the environment that will best promote the welfare of students. Accordingly, we request each student, whether at home, school, or elsewhere:

    1. Refrain from participating in worldly activities such as swearing (cursing), indecent language, smoking, possession or use of alcohol (liquor), drugs, or tobacco, involvement in the occult, gambling, stealing, dancing, pornography, premarital sex, homosexuality, same-sex marriage, or in involvement in degrading music.
    2. Refrain from harassment, fighting, violence, or threats of any kind regardless of provocation ; public disruptions or exhibitionism in any form.
    3. Maintain Christian standards in courtesy, kindness, honesty, morality, and modest attire.

Although the selection of the restrictions listed above may seem arbitrary; while not condemning others who see differently, The Winning Academy believes that the restrictions named demonstrates the types of conduct which are detrimental to the standards established as its objective.
Students are expected to abide by these standards throughout their enrollment , whether home, school, or else where. Any student found to be out of harmony with the values and moral ideals of TWA, any student who is violent to others in his actions or makes violent threats, and any student who has been arrested by the authori ties will be subject to administrative withdrawal. It is our goal at TWA to develop strong Christian character and formulate genuine personal interest between the faculty and the students. Attendance of TWA is a privi lege and not a right. Students will forfeit this privilege if they do not conform to the aforementioned standards.

  • GENDER IDENTITY

Each student will be addressed as male or female. (TWA will ONLY recognize GENDER BY BIRTH and NOT GENDER BY CHOICE).

-All students are accepted on a six-week trial basis.
TWA reserves the right to deny admission to any student if, in the opinion of the administration, it is not in the best interest of the school and/or student.

I have read the Standards of Conduct for The Winning Academy and while enrolled in this institution, I agree to cooperate with and abide by these standards whether home, school, or elsewhere.

  • NON-DISCRIMINATORY POLICY

The Winning Academy admits students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
