Thank you for requesting Institutional CARES funds. These funds may be used to defray College expenses associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Please use this form to provide details for your request. Upon submission, a group primarily consisting of the President and VPs will review the request to ensure that it meets the criteria for CARES funding and aligns with College priorities. You should hear back within two weeks.

PLEASE SUBMIT ONE FORM PER PROJECT. Only ONE of the following conditions MUST be met to qualify for CARES funding. Provide a short description of your request along with a rationale for how it meets one of the following criteria and is related to, was impacted by, or was the result of the pandemic.
Expenses incurred due to the disruption caused by COVID. This could include, but is not limited to: Time and effort or direct expenses to transition to remote work or course delivery, costs incurred due to the additional cleaning regimen required for high traffic areas, and additional equipment required to facilitate social distancing in labs/classrooms.
Technology costs supporting the transition to distance education or enhanced course delivery, increasing student recruitment, or mitigating enrollment declines.
Faculty and staff trainings. This would also include any new technologies to facilitate or enhance instructional delivery.
Full-time or Part-time temporary positions or consultation services to facilitate the additional workload due to more stringent requirements.
Payroll – This refers only to direct time and effort for existing employees who have devoted time to transition materials and activities. If you feel you or some of your staff have completed specific tasks or work to mitigate the disruption caused by COVID, we may be eligible to reclaim part of your compensation.
