About TBRC
TBRC is a privately operated, world-class Museum and Research Centre (opened in Kanchanaburi, Thailand in 2003) with a few long-serving Researchers dedicated to ensuring the story of the Thailand-Burma Railway (1942 to 1945) is never forgotten and to providing ongoing research to enquiring families for present and future generations.
About our records
While our research is ongoing and our records continue to grow, we currently have in excess of 106,000 individuals of all serving nationalities in our datebase with detailed information added to each record as found.
Additionally we have over 95,000 hospital admission and discharge records now individually identified and digitally recorded. In conjunction with all available Japanese Index Cards and Liberation Questionnaires plus a large number of Books, Personal Accounts, Diaries and Reports, we are in a unique position to offer rapid, comprehensive, factually based and researched information to related family members who we believe have a right to know.
Please contact TBRC Research Department staff (in the Research Centre on the second floor of the Museum or by email).
