Lifeguarding Certification Information

All NEW and RECERTIFICATION Lifeguarding classes are offered as blended learning courses. This means the first portion of the class must be completed independently online before the in-person session.

Please note:

The online portion takes approximately 6–8 hours to complete.
It must be completed PRIOR to the in-person class date.
Participants who do not complete the online portion before the in-person class will be ineligible to participate and will not receive a refund.
All Lifeguarding classes include certification in:

First Aid
CPR
AED
In-water lifeguarding skills

RECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BELOW:

Anyone registering for a RECERTIFICATION class must have a current Lifeguard certification that is no more than 30 days expired on the day of the class.

If your certification has been expired more than 30 days, you must register for a NEW Lifeguarding Certification course.
