By signing below, I affirm that I have read, understandm and agree to follow the requirements set forth below.
I am reserving this facility for use by myself, immediate family member (mother, father, my children, grandparents, sisters and brothers Any falsification on this form could nullify the application and may result in loss of deposit and/or future use of any City facility. I, the undersigned, do hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Santa Fe Springs and any of its officers, agents, and/or employees from any liability, claim, or action for damages resulting from or in any way arising out of the use of the facility as set forth by the City of Santa Fe Springs. I will accept responsibility for any damage to the premises, furniture, City equipment, sculptures or grounds, resulting for use of facility. Photo session fees are not refundable; however, if it rains on the date of the event, the fee will be refunded (this process takes approximately 4 weeks). I understand that I must be present during the indicated time and if I or my photographer is late, it will result in a loss of time and that my photo fee is NOT refundable.
In order to assure that you and your group understand your obligations in using the picnic area, the following information is called to your attention:
1. No climbing on or through any of the Park exhibits, including but not limited to Train Exhibit, water features, Native American Exhibit, etc.
2. Consuming alcohol during your photo session is not permitted.
3. Be sure to take all private property with you as we cannot be responsible for it safety.
4. Permit group is responsible for any damages caused by permit groups, guests, and photographer.
In order for us to refund your deposit, your group must comply with all of the policies listed above. The Park Ranger/staff member on duty will fill out an evaluation form. This evaluation at the conclusion of your event will determine whether or not we will refund your deposit. Your refund should be issued within six weeks after your event. If a deposit is paid with a credit card, your deposit will be refunded back to the credit card initially used within seven days after your event. A deposit paid with cash or check will be refunded by mail to the applicant in the form of check within six weeks after your event.
