The Greatest Promise Keeper

1.      The Promise Made: By grace, God orchestrated Israel’s      & promised to send a Savior through the nation of Israel. (13-22)

• God chose, made & led: We see God’s      in Israel’s history.
• God put up with, & gave: We see God’s      extended in Israel’s history.
• God removed & raised up: We see God’s plan      in bringing a Savior through the line of David.

 
2.      The Promise Fulfilled: God fulfilled His promise by sending Jesus as a Savior, who lived, died & was      just as God promised in Scripture.

• God sent messengers to      Jesus: John the Baptist & Apostles.
•  But the Jewish leaders rejected Jesus because they 1) did not      Jesus, nor 2) did they      the Scriptures about Jesus.
• But God’s plan was not      but rather fulfilled through their rejection.
  1. Being innocent, Jesus was      & buried as Scripture predicted.
  2. But God      him from the dead just as Scripture predicted.
  3. The Promise Received: God provides salvation for all who      in His Son!
• Blessing: All who believe in Jesus will be      &      .
• Warning: All who scoff at Jesus will      in judgment.
