Liability and Release Waiver
The current worldwide coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and associated government-mandated orders underscore the risks associated for individuals attending public events, such as, and specifically including, the AFG Annual EDGE Conference. AFG and Capital One Hall in Tysons Corner, VA, (the venue) and the Fairfax County Government. I agree to comply with all federal, state and local government orders and I understand that personal contact with others may occur and my attendance involves a certain degree of risk that could result in illness, permanent disability, or death. I voluntarily assume the aforementioned risks in conjunction with my attendance at the AFG Annual Conference. I have been made aware and acknowledge that the CDC’s latest recommendations are located at https://www.cdc.gov and I hereby release and hold harmless the Association Foundation Group (AFG) and its officers, directors and authorized agents from any liability of any kind whatsoever, including injury or death claims, arising or allegedly arising from any exposure or alleged exposure to COVID-19 in conjunction with my attendance at the AFG EDGE Conference regardless of the theory of recovery asserted, including, but not limited to claims based on allegations of negligence. I/we intend this release to be the broadest release allowed by law.
