Easy Steps:

1. Please complete the form below by June 7th (Earlier if possible) if questions contact 155161m@acadiau.ca

2. Provide days and times for the free gorup tennis lessons you will offer during the June 14th-30th campaign. This can be anytime within this window, pushing your date to later in the month will allow for more marketing/promotion.

3. List your facility information to promote through the Saltwire Network.

4. After the free group lessons, offer affordable 4-8 week entry-level "learn to play" tennis program (July/August). Recommending two sessions a week.

What age groups do you want to offer your free lessons to? *We suggest you try to offer as many as you can.
List your dates and times for the free group lessons. Provide rain dates.

Do you have a certified instructor or someone who has or will be taking a community tennis facilitator workshop to teach your free lessons? Please see workshop schedule at bottom of the page and sign up through link provided.
Do you need any equipment to deliver these free lessons for beginners? Ex. Red/orange balls, short racquets, portable nets. etc. If yes see information below to receive discount equipment through Cleve's. (For larger purchases SNS grants are available, contact your TNS regional rep for more info)
Community Tennis Facilitator Workshops

Offered Free of Charge - June 9th, 10th, 14th, 15th, & 17th
Community Tennis Facilitator workshops will be offered free of charge at the following dates and locations (with 1-hour lunch breaks):
- Jun 9th 9.30 am-3.30 pm, Wolfville Tennis Club
- Jun 10th 9.30 am-3.30 pm, Mahone Bay Tennis Club
- Jun 14th, 9.30 am-3.30 pm, Atlantic Tennis Centre, Bedford NS
- Jun 15th 9.30 am-3.30 pm, Truro Tennis Club
- Jun 17th 9.30 am-3.30 pm, Cromarty Tennis Club, Sydney NS
Community Tennis Facilitator training is a non-certification course, appropriate for anyone involved in tennis programming as a volunteer, coach, instructor, assistant, or club administrator.It equips participants to organize tennis practice and play activities using age and skill-appropriate equipment – and emphasizes the importance of Quality Standards = FUN for growth and retention in tennis programs.-
