Pet ownership is a serious responsibility.

The policy is a contract of this adoption group to ensure that each person who adopts a pet is aware of the responsibility, and is capable and willing to accept that responsibity morally, physically and financially with training and vetting.

If for any reason you can not care, train, or provide for your new pet, you will contact Mutts and Meows Rescue immediately for a return. Taking said pet back will be at the discretion of the rescue.

Any need to rehome will have to go through Mutts and Meows Rescue and the potential adopter will be required to fill out an application contract and be approved.

Pets CANNOT be transferred or surrendered to another rescue or shelter without approval from Mutts and Meows Rescue"

**THE ADOPTION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE DONATION**

We ask that you see your vet within 2 weeks for puppies and kittens and 3 weeks for adults of taking your pet home.
Please read and sign below: Many factors determine which applicant will be matched with a particular pet. If you are not able to adopt a pet today, it does not mean that you are not considered a good pet owner or that your home is not acceptable. Our goal is to place all animals into homes that will best suit their individual needs. Please ask for clarification if you have any questions.
