• PLEASE NOTE:

    Photographers, who are not resort members, current overnight guests of the resort, or hired by a client hosting an event at the resort, who desire to take special occasion photography must pay for and book a photography session with the resort.

    Photo session requests must be submitted 48 hours in advance via our online request form; walk-up photo sessions are not allowed.

    There is a $100 per session fee for photographers who are not currently annual members of the resort, are not overnight guests of the resort, or not hired specifically by a client hosting an event onsite.

    There is a 24 hour cancellation policy afer you purchase the permit.

  • Due to high business demand on Fridays and Saturdays, we do not allow photography sessions on these days of the week. 

  • POLICIES

    A photography session pass does not grant you exclusive or private access to any area of the resort. Please be prepared to encounter resort guests, members, or other photographers in the spaces that you wish to shoot.

    • Pets are not allowed on resort grounds. Please leave Fido at home.
    • No weapons of any kind are permitted on resort grounds.
    • Please refrain from making loud noises during your photography session.

    To not disrupt the guest experience, photography sessions are not allowed in the following areas:

    • Jolly Mon Water Park
    • The Conference Center
    • The Golf Course
    • LandShark Bar & Grill
    • License to Chill Café & Bar
    • Joe Merchant’s Coffee & Provisions
    • Lone Palm Pool Bar
    • 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar
    • St. Somewhere Spa
    • Fins Up Fitness Center
    • The tennis, pickleball or basketball courts
    • Parrot Island Mini Golf
    • Guest accommodations
    • Any other space that has been rented by a paying event or group.

    ·        Waterpoint Landing Deck

    ·        Toes in the Sand

    ·        LandShark Docks

    ·        The Beach

    ·        Palm Court

    ·        Stars on the Water Terrace

    ·        The grounds and landscaping surrounding the resort

    *Please note that these areas are subject to availability, and may be rented out for private events.

    COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY &
    SPECIAL REQUESTS

    The following items are not covered under a regular photography session pass and must be coordinated with the property team directly. If your shoot includes any of these items, please e-mail salesteam@margaritavilleresortlakeconroe.com.

    Commercial shoots for a business, product or service (both photo and video)
    Large props (furniture, ladders, large lighting kits, etc.)
    Shoots with models
    Shoots totaling over 12 individuals (including the photography crew)

  •  UPON ARRIVAL

    Photographers with an advanced reservation must stop by the front desk in the main lobby to pay for the photography session fee. The photographer will then be given a temporary photography pass that should be worn / displayed at all times once on property. Photographers must be able to show their photography session pass if requested by a Margaritaville Lake Resort team member. Please return the photography pass to the front desk once the session is finished.
