  • Building Permit Fee Schedule 

    *These are residential fees. Commercial fees are to be 1.5 times these amounts.

    $1 - 1,500 $50.00
    $1,501 - 5,000 $100.00+
    $5,001 - 25,000 $225.00+
    $25,001 - 50,000 $250.00+
    $50,001 - 75,000 $275.00+
    $75,001 - 100,000 $300.00+
    $100,001 - 125,000 $325.00+
    $125,001 - 150,000 $350.00+
    $150,001 - 175,000+ $375.00+

    (*Add an additional $30.00 per every $25,000 of valuation thereafter) 

    + Add Plan Review Fee = 50% of permit fee
    * Add $150.00 for inspection fees to be collected prior to issuance of permit.

  • ADDITIONAL CITY HALL REQUIREMENTS WITH BUILDING PERMIT FORM
    1. Contractor/Business must submit a copy of the Contractor/Business’ Bond (covering
    $5,000 minimum) to the City of West Liberty PROIR TO start of stated building project.
    ***Homeowners must submit a copy of Homeowner’s Insurance Policy PRIOR TO start
    of stated building project (-If homeowner is completing work themselves.)
    2. Detailed blueprints of stated project pertaining to building permit.

    Failure to comply with City of West Liberty Regulations will result in a “STOP WORK ORDER” to address in violation AND double price of permit cost
