    Welcome to ABC Care!

We're on the hunt for innovative, passionate, and empathetic individuals to join our team and elevate the standard of care we provide. If you're in search of an extraordinary employer committed to your development and offering a remarkable workplace, your search ends here.

Discover more about our values and what makes us unique by visiting our website.

Filling out the initial application form will only take about 5 - 10 minutes of your time. Currently, we have openings for support workers in our Kendal home, and we anticipate opportunities in our Carnforth home in the coming months.

While a CV isn't required right away, we will need an up-to-date CV detailing your full work history prior to scheduling an interview. You're welcome to submit this at a later stage.

Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship for international applicants.

Don't miss this chance to make a difference and grow with us. Your journey with ABC Care starts today!

    DBS Process & Documents

We work with vulnerable clients, therefore the work we do is legally classed as a regulated activity meaning an Enhanced DBS check will be conducted.

Individuals on the Children’s or Adults’ Barred List should not continue.

On the next page, you will be asked to upload your DBS documents.

If any of the documents listed are available they should be provided as part of the DBS application.

At least 3 documents must be uploaded and collectively, they must confirm:

    • your current, legal name
    • your current address
    • your date of birth.

    Group 1 Documents

These are the strongest documents, any 3 of any of these is enough to complete a DBS.

    • Passport (any nationality)
    • Biometric residence permit (UK)
    • Current photocard driving licence -
UK/Isle of Man/Channel Islands/other EEA country (full or provisional)

Do you have any convictions or cautions that would not currently be filtered by the DBS?

Additional guidance – The term ‘convictions’ is used to refer to any sentence or disposal issued by a court. The term ‘cautions’ includes simple and conditional cautions. You do not need to disclose reprimands, final warnings or cautions accepted when under 18. You do not need to disclose anything that would be currently filtered by the Disclosure & Barring Service. If you’re not sure if your convictions or cautions are filtered, you can find out more from hub.unlock.org.uk/filtering.
