EBB PROGRAM TERM
The EBB Program is a temporary federal program funded by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 that reduces the customer’s broadband Internet Service bill for eligible households. The customer may obtain EBB-supported broadband service from any participating provider of their choosing and may transfer their Emergency Broadband Benefit to another provider at any time.
The EBB Program will start May 12, 2021 and end when the federal program expires which is when the fund runs out of money or six months after the Department of Health and Human Services declares an end to the COVID-19 health emergency, whichever is sooner.
Pulse will give notice regarding the last date or billing cycle where the Customer will receive the full benefit as well as information about the cost of Internet service after the program ends. Customers must opt-in to continue Internet services after the program expires. Pulse will stop providing Internet service to the Customer at the conclusion of the EBB Program unless the Customer agrees to continue receiving service. Customers who subscribed to Pulse services before commencement of the EBB Program must also opt-in to the continuation of services after the program ends. Upon cancellation or termination of the service, Customer shall return Equipment within seven (7) days to Pulse at the Utility Billing Office - 500 E. Third St, Loveland, CO.
Pulse will provide up to a $50 per month discount towards either the Starter or My Gig Internet plans for eligible households. This discount will show up as a credit on your monthly bill. Customers are limited to one monthly service discount per eligible households. Customers are responsible for any monthly cost for services above the EBB Program discount amount. EBB Program discounts may not be combined with any other Pulse discount.
The service address must be in a fiber-enabled service area. Customers must be currently receiving Lifeline benefits or complete an online or mail application for the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program at GetEmergencyBroadband.org and receive eligibility approval prior to enrollment in the EBB Program with Pulse.
