Outside of the shelters, SNIP clinic, and Willow Hope Farm, KHS has other opportunities for volunteers, including some you can do from the comfort of home! If you are interested in outside-of-the-box opportunities, please select as many as you like from the list below. These are ongoing and KHS will reach out when we need these duties performed.
Stuffing envelopes for mailing
Completing "thank you's" from Amazon's online portal for gifts donated through our Wish Lists
Donor Thank You calls
Donor Thank You notes
Special events (Waggin' Trail, Tuxes and Tails)
Being part of an event planning committee (which can include soliciting businesses for silent auction items or other donations)
Training new volunteers
Short-term fostering of dogs, cats, puppies, or kittens

Represent KHS at community events alongside KHS staff
Landscaping, painting, or other outdoor projects
Pick up donated items from businesses such as Target or Kroger
