Camp Med: In Person Camp Med for New, Incoming 6th and 7th Graders

Camp Med is a high-caliber and engaging free bridge camp that will ensure your new students are ready for Baylor College of Medicine Academy at James D. Ryan. Students rotate through 4 exciting classes: Science Writers and Artists, Microbiologist Discoverers, Medical First Responders and Scholars Explorer. Students also interact with industry experts. It runs from Tuesday, June 10 – Tuesday, June 24. There is no camp on Thursday, June 19 (Juneteenth Holiday). The time is 8:30 am – 12:15 pm, with breakfast at 8 am. Breakfast and lunch are provided, free of cost.

Camp Med is for new incoming 6th and 7th BCMAR students only. At Camp Med, your scholar will explore exciting topics in health and medicine through engaging BCM STEM activities, make new friends, get introduced to organizational skills and get to know the Baylor College of Medicine Academy at James D. Ryan (BCMAR) teachers and expectations.
