Lifestyle: I agree to uphold a lifestyle that is above reproach meaning:
- Dressing modestly at all times
- Dressing presentably when working with the public or in the office
- Being mindful of how you present yourself on any kinds of social media
- Being mindful of choices you make at all times (private and public)
- Practicing discretion and keeping Crazy8 Ministry matters undisclosed
Character (being above reproach):
I agree to deliberately working toward the attributes listed below from 1Timothy 3:8-13
- Being a person of recognizable dignity/integrity
- Not double-tongued
- Not indulging in much wine
- Not greedy for money
- Having sound Biblical doctrine and holding short accounts to the Holy Spirit (Psalm 139:23-24)
- Not gossips, or slanderers
- Being temperate
- Being trustworthy and faithful in all things
I agree to discretion and I am committed to:
- Not talking about clients or residents unnecessarily to people inside or outside the ministry.
- If I MUST talk about about resident or client, I agree to move to a private space and ONLY communicate with the appropriate person for an appropriate reason. (Friendly story telling is ok, but only in private spaces please)
Atmosphere/Culture
I agree to the importance of maintaining and atmosphere of love, safety and joy and agree to be a part of cultivating that culture by:
- Avoiding excessive complaining especially in regard to those we serve or work with.
- Avoiding criticism or having a critical spirit
- Using words to build others up and encourage them.
- Using words that protect the anointing on ALL campuses at ALL times.
- Following the model laid out in Matthew 18 when having a conflict with another. If the conflict is unresolved, I agree to communicate solely with my direct or Lisa
- Agreeing to welcome volunteers and treat them with kindness and respect. Furthermore, I understand that any challenges with a volunteer should only be communicated with my direct or Lisa for the purpose of seeking a solution or prayer for encouragement.
- Having the attitude of a servant!
- Loving staff, volunteers, residents and clients well, in attitude, words, and deeds.
