    Once we receive your final signed approval documents, your order will be moved into production and you will receive an approval confirmation email with an estimated ship date. Standard production time is 5-6 weeks from order approval. 

    You can also request a "Rush-15" (15 business days) production priority option below.* Surcharge applies, check the MSRP grid for rush fees.

    *Rush-15 option may not always be available. Availability will be confirmed at time of approval. Rush-15 relates to days-in-production and does not include shipping days.

    Selecting a Design Pattern for your Tableaux

    Virtually any design pattern can be selected for your Tableaux Decorative Panel(s), however, some factors such as product family(substrate), shape, size, density, material thickness, application location, and installation methods can all impact the integrity of the chosen design, overall look, and quality of the panel.

    We will provide guidance when placing your quote/order, but be sure to ask us if you are uncertain about whether or not a specific design will work as you envision.

    PLEASE NOTE: COMPUTER MONITORS/MOBILE DEVICE SCREENS RENDER COLORS DIFFERENTLY. WHAT YOU SEE ON YOUR SCREEN IS ONLY A REPRESENTATION AND MAY NOT REFLECT THE ACTUAL APPLIED FINISH COLOR.

  • About Organic Finish Colors

    *Iron Light Rust, Patina Bronze, and Patina Copper are organic finishes applied using natural chemical processes (e.g. oxidation). Expect some color variations and an overall rougher texture on these finishes. 

  • Iron Light Rust for Exterior Use

    We apply a special clearcoat to our “Iron Light Rust” finish color when specified for exterior/outdoor use. This coating will help protect the finish, but it does make the final finish color darker as seen in the illustration below.

  • About Custom Finish Colors

    You may specify custom finish colors for Tableaux Elements. There is a minimum $200 custom finish color surcharge with the total fee determined when we review your project specs.

  • Placement of Inside-Mount Hardware

    The placement of inside-mount hardware (for lateral-set screws) on each piece is determined during production based on the size of the piece and the design pattern selected. If you need hardware placed in a specific place, please add those details in the notes section on the last page of this quote request.

  • INSIDE-MOUNT INSTALLATIONS - CONSIDERATIONS & OPTIONS

    All wood products expand or contract over time as moisture and climate conditions change. Transoms, windows, niches, and other framed openings made with wood are subject to these characteristics.

    Due to these characteristics, inside-mount installation into framed openings can present challenges with sizing because these openings are seldom square (measurements are not even on all sides).

    Templates 

    Templates are recommended for all inside-mount installations. Some shapes require a template as noted on the "Shapes" section of this form. If specified, you'll need to make a template of the framed opening and send it to us. We will scan your template and create an electronic file that can be used to manufacture your Tableaux to ensure a more perfect fit.  

    Deductions

    A deduction creates additional space between the Tableaux Decorative Panel and the mounting surface. This allows space for expansion & contraction and accommodates minor width/height tolerances.

    Taking a deduction means we will make your Tableaux Decorative Panel smaller than the overall dimensions you specified. So, a 1/8” deduction means we will take 1/8” off the dimensions on each side.

    Available Options & Hardware for Inside-Mount Installations

    • Lateral-Set Screws (standard hardware, no additional cost) - Screw holes are pre-drilled into the border of your Tableaux at various points. Holes in your window frame should then be marked and pre-drilled. Screws should penetrate the window frame by at least 1/4" for secure installation. A hex driver is provided for your convenience. 

     

    • Hinge & Catch Magnet (standard hardware, no additional cost) - Hinges and catch magnet hardware are provided for your installer. This option allows easy-access to clean windows behind your Tableaux. May be limited by size/weight of Tableaux. An additional 1/8" deduction will be taken to allow for hinge depth.

     

    • SnugSeal™ Gasket (specialty hardware, surcharge applies) - An optional soft foam rubber gasket is pre-attached to the outer edges of your Tableaux Decorative Panel. SnugSeal™ eliminates minor light gaps (up to 1/4") between the sides of your Tableaux Decorative Panel and the uneven edges of an inside-mount opening. A deduction will automatically be taken off the dimensions you provide to accommodate the addition of the gasket. SnugSeal™ is color-matched to the finish color you specify for your Decorative Panel(s). Lateral-set screws are included.

     

    Other Options (NOT provided by Tableaux)

    • Trimming - Trimming is millwork, primarily molding and/or trim used to frame-in windows, door openings, walls, or other framed openings. Your installer/contractor will be responsible for providing the necessary materials and labor for this option. 

    TABLEAUX DOES NOT PROVIDE INSTALLATION. YOUR INSTALLER/CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURELY INSTALLING YOUR DECORATIVE PANEL(S).

  • PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS - INSIDE-MOUNT / TEMPLATES

    A TEMPLATE IS RECOMMENDED FOR THE INSTALLATION METHOD YOU SPECIFIED. SOME SHAPES REQUIRE A TEMPLATE AS NOTED ON THE "SHAPES" SECTION OF THIS FORM. 

    NOTE: Sending your template(s) as soon as possible will help expedite production. Your order will not go into production until we receive and scan your template to confirm final measurements. However, you don't have to send us a template right now to get your Design Proposal for this project. Once your customer approves the order, you can make and send in your template at that time.

    FOLLOW THE TEMPLATE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY WHEN MAKING YOUR TEMPLATE. SENDING INCOMPLETE OR INACCURATE TEMPLATES WILL LEAD TO REMAKES AT YOUR EXPENSE.

     

  • YOU DECLINED THE USE OF A TEMPLATE. WHEN THIS OPTION IS SPECIFIED, TABLEAUX WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPROPER FIT OF YOUR DECORATIVE PANEL(S). 

    We will manufacture your decorative panel(s) using the measurements you provided on the measurement section of this form, less any deductions needed to accommodate specified options or hardware.

    By declining use of a template, I understand tableaux's 30-day satisfaction guarantee will be voided, and I will be responsible for all charges for any remakes.

  • Tableaux® Decorative Panels can be specified with Mermet E-screen solar screen fabric pre-installed*. This adds functionality, and even more versatility, to our decorative products by offering an option that helps minimize or block sunlight and serve as an additional barrier to heat. Mermet E-Screen can also be used to simply add color & contrast to your decorative panel.

  • Solar Screen Openness

    Openness refers to the percentage of holes in a solar screen fabric’s construction or weave which directly relates to the amount of light that passes through the fabric. A higher percentage of openness provides more transparency and a smaller percentage creates a more opaque screen.

  • U-Channel Wood Frame

    A U-shaped wooden frame* can be added to your decorative panel for a more professional finished look and to provide additional support.  

    Depending on your installation requirements, you can choose to have the frame pre-attached to your decorative panel and shipped as one piece, or packaged and shipped for job-site installation.

  • PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS - HARDWARE OPTIONS

    Standard Hardware - Includes options for the most popular mounting methods. Standard hardware you specify will be shipped with your order at no additional cost. Installation instructions will be provided.
