  • Resume

  • Resumes are used to make a favorable impression on a prospective employer. Your resume is often the first impression a potential employer has of you. For this reason, it is often referred to as one of the most crucial steps taken during a job search. Think of a resume as a tool for marketing yourself. A resume outlines your background, your skills, and your education so that a potential employer is quickly and easily able to see how your individual experiences can contribute to a company’s success.  Please speak to your academy leader(s), school counselors, parent or legal guardian, and/or peers for feedback on your resume to ensure your resume is professional and showcases your abilities.

Submit your resume using the following naming convention: last name_first name

  • NAF Future Ready Lab Consent Forms

  • An intern's parent and/or legal guardian must provide consent to feature the intern in any photographs, marketing material, social media, media coverage and/or research during the NAF Future Ready Lab internship program.

    INTERN SURVEY CONSENT

Near the conclusion of the NAF Future Ready Lab internship program, we would like to send you a brief, online survey on your experiences. The goal of the survey is to better understand strategies used in the NAF Future Ready Lab and to collect measures on your internship experience. As part of this important research, we want to be sure to give you the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement process of the NAF Future Ready Labs. The survey will be online and will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

All personal identifying information will be kept confidential and will only be known to the NAF staff. There is minimal risk associated with participation in the survey. Researchers will not identify specific interns to maintain confidentiality and data will be stored in a secure area accessible only to NAF researchers. Participation in the survey is voluntary. Interns who do not participate in the survey will still receive the academic and non-academic supports offered by NAF and the NAF Future Ready Lab. You are free to withdraw from the survey at any time with no consequences.

Participation in the survey will help build knowledge about how to best support future NAF students as they prepare for a postsecondary education and career launch. NAF will use the information you provide to improve and adjust the NAF Future Ready Lab programming. We greatly appreciate your input on this matter. If you have any questions about your rights as a participant, you can call Dr. Nicholas Minar, Director of Research and Reporting at NAF, at (646) 896-3880.
