'Fresh from the Farm – Indian Harvest' on 9/24/23, from 2:00-3:30 PM MDTEnjoy the fall and all its bounty with some easy to prepare Indian dishes. Learn new techniques and flavors to add to your old fall favorites! Menu: Butternut Squash Curry, Spicy Roasted Sweet Potatoes, a yummy side dish with Carrots, Pomegranate Raita (Yogurt Salad). 'Fall Soups and Stews' on 10/22/23, from 2:00-3:30 PM MDT Fall is the season of soups and stews! Learn how to make the best soups and stews to keep you warm as the weather gets colder. And, as an added bonus, these recipes can be made and frozen to be kept for a lazy day. Ages 14+.

'Food for Life: Cancer Project' a 4-class series starts on 10/9/23 at 6:00 PM MDT The power of food for cancer prevention and survival. Studies have shown that a diet built from plant foods offers the most cancer-ﬁghting protection of any diet plan. Reviews by the American Institute for Cancer Research showed that as much as 40 percent of cancer risk may be related to diet. This 4-class series will offer a unique opportunity to acquire knowledge about the link between diet and cancer, experience the beneﬁts of plant-based nutrition, and learn the practical cooking skills needed to help you on your journey to better health. Class topics include Introduction to How Foods Fight Cancer, Fueling Up on Low-Fat High-Fiber Foods, Discovering Dairy and Meat Alternatives, Cancer-Fighting Compounds and Immune Boosting Foods, Maintaining a Healthy Weight Class format: welcome & overview, video lesson, class discussion, cooking demonstration, and Q&A.
