  • INFORMATION

Thanks for taking the time to apply. Please take a few minutes to read through your potential roles and then fill out the application below.

If your application is accepted you will be contacted via the ticket channel that was created for you on Discord, so please make sure you do not close the ticket or your application will be cancelled. It could take 1-3 days for us to get back to you. Please do not message any staff asking for an update on your application (don't call us, we'll call you).

If accepted, you will be placed into a trial period that will last approx. 7 days, during this time your actions will be monitored.

If you have any questions or are unsure about what to do in a certain situation, please feel free to ask in the #staff-general channel.

A lot of the CreatorHub server rules are in place to make other user's experiences better, so we can be lenient if some of these rules are broken, by warning the user before taking stronger action. But some rules such as racism, sharing pornography and illegal content breaks Discord's ToS and are strict, meaning if someone breaks these rules they should be banned immediately without warning and have their message history deleted as well. If you do end up banning someone, please explain your reason for banning them in #staff-general.

YOUR ROLES AS A TRIAL MOD

During your trial period you will be focusing on 1-2 channels only, making sure people are posting in the correct channels and are not posting anything that breaks the rules. This may include having to click links or watch videos to verify their content.

You will only have permission to delete messages you deem unfit for the specific channels you are moderating.

This part is not necessary, but if you delete a user's message you are welcome to DM them directly or @ping them in the #misc channel to provide an explanation and inform them where to post instead. Please don't provide explanations in the promo channels or #general.

After your trial period, you may receive permissions for other channels and mod actions such as kick, ban, mute etc but this depends solely on your the admin's needs at the time.

If you see a message that breaks rules or does not belong in a channel that you do not moderate, you can use the #staff-general channel to @ping a moderator/admin who does.
