    This camp will teach participants the fundamentals of basketball with a focus on ball handling skills, shooting, rebounding, passing, defensive strategies, and 1on1, 3on3 and 5on5 concepts.
  • COACH BIO

    Head Girls Basketball Coach, Kayla Mobley

    Kayla Mobley is a former professional basketball player, National Champion, and Hall of Fame inductee with an impressive eight-year international career. A 2008 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, she began her collegiate career at the University of North Florida before transferring to Clayton State University, where she earned her degree in Psychology and Human Services and won a National Championship in 2011. She went on to play professionally across Europe and Mexico, earning multiple Overseas League Championships and three Overseas MVP honors. In 2022, her championship team was inducted into the Clayton State University Hall of Fame and honored by the City of Morrow.

    Transitioning into coaching, Coach KD brings a holistic and dynamic approach to player development, blending elite skill training with mindfulness, strength and conditioning, yoga, and mental performance strategies. She has served in multiple high school coaching roles, including head and assistant positions at St. Thomas Aquinas and NSU University School, and founded the South Florida MOBSTARS travel program, now known as Remy MOB Select. Passionate about developing confident, disciplined leaders, Coach KD is committed to helping young athletes grow both on and off the court.

     

    Head Boys Basketball Coach, Lamar Twitty

    Coach Lamar Twitty is one of the most respected basketball coaches in South Florida, bringing over 14 years of head coaching experience in Broward County. Throughout his career, he has built highly competitive programs that consistently contend at the state championship level, earning numerous District and Regional titles along the way. In his first year leading our program, Coach Twitty guided our boys basketball team to a District Championship and an impressive, hard-fought Regional run—setting the tone for a culture of excellence and accountability.

    A standout player at Boyd Anderson High School (’05), Coach Twitty continued his career at Florida A&M University (’09) before playing professionally in the Liaoning Euro League in Beijing, China (’09–’11). His experience at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels allows him to provide valuable insight into what it takes to succeed at every stage of the game.

    In addition to his high school coaching success, Coach Twitty has directed AAU programs and basketball camps throughout Broward County, helping athletes of all ages sharpen their skills, build confidence, and develop a strong foundation in the game.

  • CAMP INFORMATION

     

    Two (2) sessions offered for those entering 4th grade through those entering 9th grade. All skill levels welcome.

    • Each session will be limited to a maximum of 40 campers.  
    • Water and snacks will be provided throughout the day, each day. 
    • Participants will receive a camp t-shirt. 

     

    Session 1: June 29 - July 2, 2026 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

    Session 2: July 6 - July 10, 2026 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

     

    There will be a 1-hour lunch break. A boxed lunch is included in the camp registration fee and is not refundable.

      • WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS

      • Your name and signature below indicate that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms of the Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement.

      • 1.     In consideration for receiving permission to attend the summer camp at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory, ticketholder(s) hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND HOLD HARMLESS: Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory (“School”), its Board, and any partner, employee, servant, representative, associate, officer, agent, volunteer, successor and assigns of the School, (hereinafter referred to as RELEASEES) from any and all liability, claims, demands, action, judgments, costs, expenses, court costs, attorney fees and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by ticketholder(s), or to any property belonging to ticketholder(s), whether caused by the sole, contributory, or gross negligence of the RELEASEES, or otherwise, while participating in such activity, or while in, on or upon the premises where the activity is being conducted.

        2.     Ticketholder(s) hereby elect to voluntarily participate in said activity, and to enter the above-named premises and engage in such activity knowing that certain risk of harm are or may be inherent in the various activities contemplated herein and that the activity may be hazardous to ticketholder(s) and their property. Ticketholder(s) VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISKS OF LOSS, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, that may be sustained by ticketholder(s), or any loss or damage to property owned by ticketholder(s), as a result of being engaged in such an activity, whether caused by the sole, contributory, or gross negligence of the RELEASEES, or otherwise.

        3.     Ticketholder(s) further hereby AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the RELEASEES from any loss, liability, damage, demands, liens, liabilities, judgments or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to ticketholder(s) participation in said activity, whether caused by or contributed to in whole or part by any action or failure to act, negligence, breach of contract, or other misconduct on the part of RELEASEES or otherwise.

        4.     It is ticketholder(s)' express intent that this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement shall bind the members of ticketholder(s)' family and spouse, if ticketholder(s) am alive, and ticketholder(s)' heirs, personal representatives, executors and assigns, if ticketholder(s) am deceased, and shall be deemed as a RELEASE, WAIVER, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the above named RELEASEES. Ticketholder(s) hereby further agree that this Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

        5.     Ticketholder(s) expressly agree that this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of Florida, and if any portion of this Agreement is held to be invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

        IN SIGNING THIS RELEASE, Ticketholder(s) ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPRESENT THAT ticketholder(s) have read the foregoing Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement, understand it and sign it voluntarily as ticketholder(s) own free act and deed; no oral representations, statements, or inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreement, have been made; Ticketholder(s) am at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent; and Ticketholder(s) execute the Release For full, adequate, and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by same.
