    This camp will teach participants the fundamentals of basketball with a focus on ball handling skills, shooting, rebounding, passing, defensive strategies, and 1on1, 3on3 and 5on5 concepts.

    Head Girls Basketball Coach, Kayla Mobley

    A Florida native with a legacy of elite performance, Kayla Mobley’s journey from Tallahassee to the professional stage is defined by championship excellence. A standout at St. Thomas Aquinas High School and a Division I athlete at UNF, Kayla later transferred to Clayton State University, where she led her team to a 2011 National Championship—an achievement that earned the squad a 2022 Hall of Fame induction. Following a decorated eight-year professional career overseas, highlighted by three MVP awards and two league championships, Kayla transitioned her expertise into player development. As the founder of MOB Athletics Inc. and the Remy Mob Select girls travel program, she has dedicated herself to building the next generation of athletes. Her coaching resume includes impactful tenures at NSU University School and her alma mater, St. Thomas Aquinas, where she served as the Head JV Girls Coach and Varsity Assistant, in the 2024-25 season. She currently serves as the head coach of the Chaminade Madonna Lady Lions Varsity team, bridging the gap between professional experience and youth mentorship.

     

    Head Boys Basketball Coach, Lamar Twitty

    Coach Lamar Twitty is a former professional shooting guard and accomplished head basketball coach with over 16 years of experience developing elite student-athletes on and off the court. A three-time Broward County Champion at Boyd Anderson High School, Twitty averaged 18 points and 8 rebounds as a senior, earned First Team All-Miami Herald honors, and was named Broward vs. Dade All-Star MVP. He went on to star at Florida A&M University, earning First Team All-MEAC honors twice, being named Team MVP in back-to-back seasons, scoring over 1,000 career points, and leading the Rattlers to a MEAC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.

    After college, Twitty played professionally in the CBA League in China for three seasons and was rated a top-two all-around player at the Euro Basketball Camp. Transitioning into coaching, he built a reputation as a program builder and leader. As Head Varsity Coach at Coral Springs Charter, he led the program to multiple District Championships, a Regional Championship, and a State Final Four appearance. He later served as Head Coach at Blanche Ely High School, guiding the team to district success and contributing to a State Championship run. In his first season at Chaminade-Madonna he led the team to a District championship and regional appearance. 

    In the travel basketball circuit, Twitty has coached and trained nationally ranked AAU teams, including Adidas Gold programs, and helped develop numerous collegiate athletes. Known for his leadership, player development expertise, and commitment to academic and athletic excellence, Twitty continues to impact the game through coaching, mentoring, and training the next generation of basketball talent.

  • CAMP INFORMATION

     

    Two (2) sessions offered for those entering 4th grade through those entering 9th grade. All skill levels welcome.

    • Each session will be limited to a maximum of 40 campers.  
    • Water and snacks will be provided throughout the day, each day. 
    • Participants will receive a camp t-shirt. 

     

    Session 1: June 29 - July 2, 2026 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

    Session 2: July 6 - July 10, 2026 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

     

    There will be a 1-hour lunch break. A boxed lunch is included in the camp registration fee and is not refundable.

      • WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS

      • Your name and signature below indicate that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms of the Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement.

      • 1.     In consideration for receiving permission to attend the summer camp at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory, ticketholder(s) hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND HOLD HARMLESS: Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory (“School”), its Board, and any partner, employee, servant, representative, associate, officer, agent, volunteer, successor and assigns of the School, (hereinafter referred to as RELEASEES) from any and all liability, claims, demands, action, judgments, costs, expenses, court costs, attorney fees and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by ticketholder(s), or to any property belonging to ticketholder(s), whether caused by the sole, contributory, or gross negligence of the RELEASEES, or otherwise, while participating in such activity, or while in, on or upon the premises where the activity is being conducted.

        2.     Ticketholder(s) hereby elect to voluntarily participate in said activity, and to enter the above-named premises and engage in such activity knowing that certain risk of harm are or may be inherent in the various activities contemplated herein and that the activity may be hazardous to ticketholder(s) and their property. Ticketholder(s) VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISKS OF LOSS, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, that may be sustained by ticketholder(s), or any loss or damage to property owned by ticketholder(s), as a result of being engaged in such an activity, whether caused by the sole, contributory, or gross negligence of the RELEASEES, or otherwise.

        3.     Ticketholder(s) further hereby AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the RELEASEES from any loss, liability, damage, demands, liens, liabilities, judgments or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to ticketholder(s) participation in said activity, whether caused by or contributed to in whole or part by any action or failure to act, negligence, breach of contract, or other misconduct on the part of RELEASEES or otherwise.

        4.     It is ticketholder(s)' express intent that this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement shall bind the members of ticketholder(s)' family and spouse, if ticketholder(s) am alive, and ticketholder(s)' heirs, personal representatives, executors and assigns, if ticketholder(s) am deceased, and shall be deemed as a RELEASE, WAIVER, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the above named RELEASEES. Ticketholder(s) hereby further agree that this Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

        5.     Ticketholder(s) expressly agree that this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of Florida, and if any portion of this Agreement is held to be invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

        IN SIGNING THIS RELEASE, Ticketholder(s) ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPRESENT THAT ticketholder(s) have read the foregoing Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement, understand it and sign it voluntarily as ticketholder(s) own free act and deed; no oral representations, statements, or inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreement, have been made; Ticketholder(s) am at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent; and Ticketholder(s) execute the Release For full, adequate, and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by same.
