Lost & Found is returning to Bunbury, the Ferguson Valley, Dardanup and Donnybrook in September, 2022. For four days in September the port city and its wine loving neighbour come alive, with special events made for lovers of great food, incredible wine, craft beer, art and live music.
Event organisers are strictly accepting Expressions of Interest between JANUARY 12, 2022 and APRIL 13, 2022. We strongly suggest you consider event concepts that are scalable to fit with any COVID-19 restrictions. Please read through the 2021 Lost & Found feedback below when considering your event concepts for 2022.
2022 Festival Dates: Thursday, 8th September - Sunday, 11th September.
Target Markets:
Lost & Found aims to attract a mix of local and overnight visitors, with the below behaviours -
- Dual income couples between the ages of 25 and 45 who choose to spend their disposable income on eating and drinking at the newest restaurants and bars, and like to attend regional events that provide different offerings.
- Empty nesters who choose to spend their disposable income on fine dining, quality products, wine and comfortable holidays.
- Families with children looking for activities while parents can still enjoy food and wine.
What we are looking for:
- Event organisers or venues interested in creating and implementing a suitable event for the Lost & Found brand, which is unique to the program and not available at any other time of the year. The AHOY team are happy to work with venues by either providing or developing event concepts.
- A mix of free and ticketed events, large-scale and small-scale, that will entice day trippers, locals and short haul visitors from Perth and other areas of WA.
- Events that showcase the diversity of experiences in the Bunbury and Geographe region and portray an authentic representation of the region, including but not restricted to, wine, beer, food, spirits, music, art and nature.

Cost:
Participating businesses will pay a $400+GST marketing fee for inclusion in the program and for associated marketing costs. In exchange, businesses will receive:
- Inclusion under the Lost & Found Festival umbrella and associated marketing.
- ¼ page listing in the Lost & Found printed program and on the website, including ticket link.
- Ticket sales setup and all ticket sales management via Humanitix platform.
- Promotion of your event and relevant business news/imagery through selected marketing activities (social media, public relations, advertising).
- At least one (1) boosted/paid post on Facebook and Instagram
- 2 x tickets to Lost & Found launch party
- Risk Management Plan template
- At least one (1) face-to-face meeting with event management to assist with event rollout
- Business support with planning, marketing, promotion and rollout of event.
