The mission of Writer’s Well Youth Fellowship is to center Black girls/femmes/non-binary/gender expansive youth ages 14-19 living in South Carolina by facilitating creative expression as a pathway to build healing practices and a liberation mindset rooted in thriving. Reflecting on the strategic imperatives of Speaking Down Barriers, end oppression and equity for all, we approach Writers Well fellowship from a perspective of wholeness, reinforcing their inherent value and affirming their humanity.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The first retreat of the year will take place Wednesday, August 4th - Saturday, August 7th on the campus of Converse College. The retreat is ABSOLUTELY FREE and transportation assistance can be provided if necessary. You MUST ATTEND THE ENTIRE RETREAT to participate in the fellowship.
