My name is Yuko Okabe (she/her)
I am an Enterprise Community Partners Rose Artist Fellowship 2019-2021 cohort member partnered with North Shore Community Development Coalition (NSCDC) in original Naumkeag Land known today as Salem, Massachusetts.
With NSCDC, I've been helping to bridge interests and goals between the public arts program and community engagement programs to foster equitable ways of creatively engaging community members in the Salem and North Shore communities.
I also identify as an Asian-American female illustrator, artist, novice designer, and organizer.
I like oatmeal, hedgehogs, and Dua Lipa. I'm currently reading "The Buried Giant" by Kazuo Ishiguro. "Odd Taxi" is a good anime.
Other Credentials
I lovingly document most of my oatmeal through a blog.
I have an arts degree and took courses in storytelling, public art, games, and more!
I hold myself accountable to actively listening, giving and sharing space, following-up, and documenting my process through mostly Google Docs.
I sometimes organize my arts career into documents and websites like the ones below:
