  • PARENT(S) MUST AGREE:

     

    • I allow my son/daughter (the Student) to participate in the selected SSLC Vacation Program.
    • I agree that SSLC Language College will not be held responsible for any personal injury which may occur to the Student or for any damage to his/her personal property.
    • SSLC Language College is not liable for any phone bills or other related charges incurred by the Student throughout the duration of their stay.
    • I agree that photographs and videos, in which the Student’s image(s) is included, that are taken during the program,may be used for SSLC Facebook pages, blogs, promotional presentations, or any other marketing-related materials in digital, printed or other forms.
    • I hereby accept that the assigned host organizations, SSLC staff, and / or program leaders may act as responsible guardians for the Student and may decide on emergency medical treatment including surgery, without personal liability. I hereby release the sending and hosting organizations and any of their staff, and any of the host campus members of all manner of actions, and financial or other responsibilities, and of claims and demands which I may have arising out of the Student’s participation in your program.

    • In applying to be a participant of this program, I agree to abide by the SSLC school and program policies stated in this document. I will abide by the rules and the directions of the SSLC staff, my group leader, the sending and host organization(s) and host campus, and understand that by not obeying I may be sent back home at my parent’s expense BEFORE the end of the program.

  • This is to inform that The Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills (the Ministry) and the federal department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) are signing an Information Sharing Arrangement related to the BC Study Permit Attestation Letter (BCSPA) system. Under this agreement, this is to notify that the personal information in your application to attend SSLC Language College will be incorporated in the PAL and will be shared with IRCC and the Ministry for operational and program evaluation purposes. If you don’t want your personal information to be shared with IRCC and the Ministry, please inform SSLC Language College before requesting your PAL.*
