For 35 years the Harvest Moon has been a destination each fall for shopping beautiful handcrafts. Over 5,000 people stroll our aisles, visiting over 90 vendors, buying unique products and dining in our food court! The community looks forward to this event every year.
We welcome you to apply with your high quality, hand-crafted / hand-altered items. No re-sale of wholesale or imported items and no Direct Sale vendors will be accepted. The applicant must be the maker of the products.
This is a fundraiser for the Kid Lights Ministry at Good Shepherd Community Church. Funds raised are used to provide skilled childcare so women can participate in activitities throughout each month.
This is a juried event. The jury is a cross-representation of styles and backgrounds. We are impressed by the product people in our community create and the labor that they have to put into producing their art. The jury carefully reviews the applications submitted, looking for the best quality, appeal and workmanship, always keeping our customer demographic in mind.
The jury must make their selection based solely on the application and photos submitted; therefore, please carefully review the application guidelines and submit a complete application with the required photos that properly represent the items that will be sold. We do not need a photo of every item, just a representation of your craft/art.
Each year we are asked why a vendor was not selected to join the bazaar. We've put together a short list that we hope will help in your submission process.
Top Reasons Applicant is not accepted as a vendor:
Too many applicants for a category. There are a lot of fantastic artisans! Our goal each year is to offer a variety of quality products. That means making the hard decision to not choose many vendors.
Poor quality photos
- Keep the background neutral so the product is the star
- Do not crowd the photo with too many items - we suggest no more than 2 items
- Make sure your photos are in focus
- Make sure you have good lighting
Incomplete application / Did not follow directions
- Remember to send photos of both your product AND display
Product and/or materials used are not up to date with current purchasing trends
Did we mention how important photos are? Due to the high volume of applicants, the jury only has a brief time to spend on each photo. Submit focused, well lit photos
Complete the application & photos below. Please note that by submitting photos, you agree to allow the Harvest Moon to use these images for marketing purposes.
Read & agree to Vendor Guidelines (including insurance requirements and load-out timing).
Applications are due by August 1st, 2021. Late submissions will automatically be placed on the wait list for 2nd jury session, no exceptions. Space permitting, these applications will be subject to jury approval after the first round of vendors are selected and have confirmed their participation.
Vendors will be notified via email on August 22, 2021 of their vending status. Upon receiving Notification of Acceptance, vendors must submit their registration fee of $20 and certificate of insurance (COI) via the link provided at acceptance by September 13th to secure their participation.
This is a fundraiser for the Kid Lights Ministry at Good Shepherd Community Church. Funds raised are used to provide skilled child care so women can participate in activities. At the conclusion of the event on Saturday, Harvest Moon will collect 15% of each vendors total sales.
