Please enter a single place name here. Applicants and the majority of the team should be over 18 and in the Dunedin area. Please do submit an Expression of interest if you have plans to locate the project in Dunedin, even if you are currently elsewhere.
Location
Service Start funding is not operated in rounds so you can register your interest at any stage. We welcome Expressions of Interest from diverse applicants, especially those currently underrepresented in the games industry of Aotearoa.

Tell us about yourself and other team members if you are applying on behalf of a team or company.
You should be telling us things like: your experience level, the projects you have worked on before, any relevant work or study - reasons to believe in you (and your team if applicable). An overview is fine - we can get into the detail at the Full Application stage. We just want to get a feel for who you are and why you're a great prospect for funding! Feel free to include links to portfolios or games you have made or worked on before.
Tell us why you feel you should be considered for Service Start support.
You should be telling us things like: some information about the service you would like to provide for game devs, how it will provide employment, build community capability, and create new pathways for recent graduates. We'll also need to know where your matched funding will be coming from. Don't get too hung up on detail - that's for the Full Application stage and we'll help you work on that - we just want to get an idea of how Service Start funding can support your growth, and why you feel it's special and deserving of consideration.
