Thank you for choosing Smokey Ridge Meats for your meat processing needs! Our experienced crew will strive to cut and package your meat to satisfy your unique preferences. After years of taking instructions over the phone, then transferring hand-written notes to the computer, we're excited to introduce a new streamlined system you can use to submit your cutting instructions directly. Your selections will filter automatically onto the cut card used by our butchers and meat wrappers in the cut room.
First, click on the type of meat we're processing for you. From there you will be prompted to answer a series of basic questions that will instruct us how to cut and package your meat. Feel free to contact us by phone or email any time if anything on the form is unclear to you.
If you have purchased an animal (or portion of an animal) from someone else, please indicate the name of the farm or farmer when prompted at the top of the form to avoid any confusion on our end. If you don't know whether your animal is being processed under USDA inspection (suitable for resale by individual cut) or under the custom exempt program (for home consumption), contact us and we'll let you know what your farmer chose.
The answers you'll find pre-selected on the form are the most common or what we would consider to be a standard cut. To select something different, simply click on the circle so it turns blue.
