• Volunteer Sign-Up for End of Year Show 2026

    We are grateful for all the assistance we receive from our parents and friends during our EOY Show each year.

  • In order for us to provide the best level of care for our kids, there are a few requirements for volunteering:

    •  You will need to hold a current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP)   Card. These can be obtained from Access Canberra. If you do not currently   have one please apply ASAP as you will not be able to volunteer without it.

     

    • You will need to be available for the Canberra Theatre Tech & Full Dress Rehearsal & Show for the class/es that you'll be assisting in your volunteer role. Specific times will be available closer to the event. We are asking you to commit to both Tech Rehearsal & ONE Show in order for you to get to know the class and for the students to get to know you. 

     

    • You'll be required to read and sign off on our Backsatge Volunteer Induction Form which will inform you on all the expectations, roles and responsibilites. 

     

    • It is compulsory for NEW volunteers to attend the Volunteer Induction Question Session via Zoom (date listed below).
  • Can you attend the Volunteer Induction Question Session 6:30pm Tuesday, 10th November via Zoom.

  • Each volunteering option below is held at Canberra Theatre and requires attendance at both the Tech & Full Dress Rehearsal AND the Show. Volunteers must be available for and participate in both components of their selected option.   Please select at least one option and ensure you are available for both the rehearsal AND the corresponding show:*

    Each volunteer is paired with a specific class. Due to the sheer volume of volunteers and students to cater for, we will not be guaranteeing that we can pair volunteers with their own child's class in particular. However, we understand that some students may require their parent's presence for a variety of reasons. If so, please indicate as such below.
