How can you help?*

I am bringing a suitable boat which can assist with Rescue coverI would like to volunteer as Rescue boat crew
Please note: Rescue boat craft should meet the following requirements:

- minimum of 4.5m long

- minimum of 20hp outboard

- vhf required (handheld or fixed)

- basic first aid kit

- knife

- operated by a RYA Level 2 Powerboater minimum
Please note: To volunteer on a Rescue boat, you will need a serviced Lifejacket/Buoyancy Aid and Waterproofs.

RESCUE BOAT REQUIREMENTS:

The boat carries the following equipment:
- Basic First Aid Kit
- Knife (preferably a rounded end knife)
- Paddles
- Full fuel tank (you will be provided with fuel to top up after the event)
- Tow Line
The boat:
- is insured
- the person operating the boat will have a RYA Level 2 Powerboat Qualification
- the outboard has been recently serviced and you are confident in its reliability

Rescue Boat Briefing - Friday 19th August at 7:30pm via Zoom (tbc)*

At least one member of your boat (preferably the driver) will be present at a zoom Rescue Briefing on Friday 19th August at 7:30pm. Details to follow.
