OutLine’s Members are people who support our work to help LGBTIQ+ New Zealanders access support, information and a sense of community. They elect our Board, and help us make decisions about how we run the organisation.
To become a Member of OutLine, you must complete this application form and agree to support OutLine’s aims.
Your membership will be voted on at OutLine’s next Annual General Meeting, on Wednesday 23rd June 2021, 6pm-8pm by Zoom.
To generate the list of people who would like to join OutLine NZ Incorporated, we are asking that all people wishing to become members register their details not less than 5 days before the AGM (6pm on Friday 18th June 2021).
The OutLine NZ Incorporated Constitution outlines that full membership is granted through vote at the Annual General Meeting:
3(b) Full membership of the Group shall consist of Rainbow* People supportive of the Group’s aims, voted in at a general meeting and upon payment of the current annual subscription, if levied.

* We are using
as an umbrella term to describe people whose sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or sex characteristics differ from majority, binary norms. This includes people who identify with terms like takatāpui, lesbian, gay, bisexual, intersex, transgender, queer, non-binary or fa’afafine, as well as people who don’t use specific words for their identity, people whose identity changes over time, and people who are in the process of understanding their own identity and may not have ‘come out’ to themselves or others.
