A 40-hour Home Health Aide Training Program that teaches caregivers how to assist the elderly, frail, or disabled people in ill-health to maintain their quality of life and independence at home. The program teaches the caregivers the roles, responsibilities, and skills to perform in-home care. The training includes home health care, long-term care, patients’ rights, elder abuse, communication, aging, end-of-life care, infection control, nutrition, rehabilitation, common diseases, emergency procedures, and so much more. Graduates will be prepared with professional knowledge and experiences and may work in home care through a personal care home, home care agency, or home health agency.

This 2-week hybrid training program prepares students for entry-level healthcare front desk roles. Students will learn patient check-in, scheduling, medical terminology, customer service, HIPAA basics, and job readiness skills through online learning and hands-on classroom training.
Must hold a current BLS certification and complete the BLS Essentials Course prior to enrollment. This course prepares you to confidently teach life-saving BLS skills.
