  • File upload and consent form – Cranfield University heroes

  • We’re really excited to see the work that all our new hero alliance members have produced.

    This form is for parents, carers, school staff and group leaders to upload files and provide consent which is necessary in order:

    • For children's work to be included on our website.
    • Allow us (Cranfield University) to include within communications related to this activity, for example, on our social media channels and within internal communications.
  • Identifying the work of our new heroes

    Every child who has work uploaded will receive a unique ‘hero alliance membership number’ that identifies them and their work.

    This means we can see how many new heroes have stepped forward to join our heroes alliance and that new heroes can identify their piece of work within the digital exhibition.

    This number will be emailed to you by our team after submission of your file(s).

  • Helping us to measure our hero impact

    It is important to us to measure the success of our activities in engaging with as many people as possible to inspire future engineering heroes. For our internal reporting purposes only.

  • Consent for use of audio-visual recording, images or written contribution

    I hereby grant Cranfield University (“the University”) all consents necessary for the child's/children's contribution to be used by the University and/or by agents authorised by the University for educational and/or marketing purposes in both digital and print media. In granting this consent, I understand that:

    • The contribution will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act;
    • Copyright and all other intellectual property in this contribution will belong to the University and I waive all moral rights in it therefore, the University shall be entitled to edit, adapt or translate the contribution as necessary provided the University will not change the meaning of the contribution in any way;

    I can ask the University to stop using this contribution at any time, in which case it will not be used in future publications, but will continue to appear in publications already in circulation.

    If you have any concerns about consenting on the basis of the above permissions, please contact cranfieldcommunity@cranfield.ac.uk.
